Commissioned to create a 'Día de Muertos' themed peice for a ' Day Of The Dead' festival in Melbourne.
Recently traveling abroad in a beautiful country while meeting amazing people inspiration hit pretty hard.
I wanted to communicate the beauty of this culture but also capture the underbelly of the unfortunate exploitation that takes place.
Exploring a Mixture of textures and colours through layers of grime.
An exploration of layered sections through pastel colours and sharp edges.
A mixture of layered backgrounds overlapping the subject.
Exploring the preparation and breakthrough of thoughts when venturing to a destination unknown.
The 'VOID' series was a project that gave space to an idea and concept of manipulating urban environments to show much more than what was on the surface. I explored the concept of creating multiple dimensions or plains of existence in each peice relebvant to me at the time spent in each location.
A creative mixture of colour & layers each showing it’s own initial concept while coming together to create something new.
A personal piece exploring the complexity and vast thought process we must go through on a daily basis.
A commisioned pillar design and application for Tramp Bar in Melbourne. Tramp Bar is an underground House club located in Melbourne, Australia.
It is known for its late open times and early morning parties as well as housing some of Melbourne's top DJ/Producing talent.
I was commissioned to re-design pillars inside there venue, using the tramp brand in mind the owner was looking to create a seductive and erotic design which would fit well with the bars current theme.
